Every Great Journey Has a Beginning
Welcome to the Space Development Cooperative, and thank you for taking the time to visit our new website.
Our ambition is an extraordinary one: to bring together people from around the world to develop the technologies, resources, and infrastructure necessary to establish a permanent, independent human civilization in space.
It’s an enormous undertaking, and we’re under no illusions about the challenges ahead. But every great achievement begins with an idea, followed by people willing to work together to make it happen.
That’s what we’re setting out to build.
We’re Just Getting Started
Over the coming weeks and months, we’ll be expanding this website and sharing more information about our plans, projects, and opportunities to participate.
You’ll find updates on subjects ranging from space habitat development and asteroid mining to scientific research, engineering challenges, and some of our entertainment and educational projects.
We’ll also be sharing our progress as the cooperative develops, including the challenges we encounter and the solutions we explore along the way.
Come Back and See What’s Developing
This website is only the beginning. As our plans evolve, new articles, project information, and opportunities for participation will be added.
We encourage you to bookmark the site, check back regularly, and share it with anyone who might be interested in helping humanity take its next great step.
Whether you’re a scientist, an engineer, an artist, a student, or simply someone who believes humanity has a future among the stars, we hope you’ll find something here that inspires you.
Welcome aboard. The journey is just beginning.
